Ann Arbor Hematology Associates, P.C. (AAHOA), is a group practice, which specializes in the care of patients with blood disorders and cancer. Ann Arbor Hematology Oncology Associates' mission is "to provide comprehensive, stat-of-the-art care in a professional and compassionate environment." Because Ann Arbor Hematology Oncology Associates is limited to Hematology and Oncology, AAHOA associates will coordinate patients' care management with the patient's primary care physicians along with any specialists caring for the patient. Outpatient chemotherapy treatments are conducted in the Cancer Care Clinic at Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital and in the Woodland Cancer Center in Brighton, Michigan. The NCI cooperative group system consists of the Mayo Clinic, the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, the Southwestern Oncology Group, the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group, and the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast Project.
